Prior to re branding to The CDS Group in 2019, Cemetery Development Services had undertaken numerous cemetery developments and extensions across the UK. The attached images detail a range of the works undertaken by Cemetery Development Services in our early years.
The CDS Group were approached by a private client who had purchased a newly developed natural burial site and wished to understand the restrictions on burials based on the depth to bedrock across the site.
CDS were approached by a Local Authority who had concerns that their existing cemetery could be breaching statutory requirements with regard to groundwater protection.
CDS were approached by Buntingford Town Council to assist with identifying a parcel of land for a new cemetery site in order to provide future local burial provision.
CDS were approached by Bedford Town Council regarding surface water issues at the recently opened extension at Norse Road Cemetery, Bedford. The surface conditions at Norse Road were making the excavation and reopening of graves difficult. In addition, access to graves for family members was also proving to be a challenge in some areas due to wet, slippery under-foot conditions causing distress to loved ones.
